This baby hat was made from a pattern book that I bought in pdf form off Ravelry. The pattern collection is called Wee Woolly Toppers by Woolly Wormhead and the pattern is called tubey. The yarn I used was Debbie Bliss Pure Cashmere in buttercup (2 skeins). I recommend http://www.yarn.com/ for this yarn at a good price.
This bootie was made from a pattern in the Easy Baby Knits book. I used Bernat Bamboo Natural Blends in dill (1 skein) from Michael's.
This baby blanket was made from a pattern I received from my great friend Jane Islieb's mother, Debbie Rumple. She is a Project Linus representative in my home town and I have used this pattern many times to make numerous gorgeous blankets for Project Linus as well as for gifts. This blanket was made from Cascade Yarns Cherub Aran colors soft lemon and lilac held together. I bought the yarn at Knit and Stitch = Bliss in Bethesda, MD.
This is a closeup of the colors and the pattern on the blanket.
This bootie was made from the pattern found here: http://www.chopped-tomatoes.com/braided-tie-booties. I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky in colour: 17015 but I think that was a mistake. The pattern calls for dk weight yarn but I loved this yarn so much I wanted to try it. The bootie turned out too stiff and big. I don't think I'll be making it's mate. The contrasting color yarn was Debbie Bliss Rialto 4 Ply in colour: 22012.
That's all my completed projects for 2009. Keep on the lookout for a few more things before April 18th (baby shower for a friend!). Happy knitting!
